4 October, the village of Kyrbaltabay near Almaty. The distance is 25 km, out and back along the Kyrbaltabay - Tuganbay road. Riders start individually, 30 seconds apart. The field is capped at 60 men and 60 women.

Anyone may start, on any bike that is road-legal. There are age categories, open to riders born in 2011 or earlier. The road is not closed: there is very little traffic on it, but the rules of the road still apply.

Cups go to the overall winners, men and women. Certificates go to the top three overall and in every age category. There are prizes from UBT and Giant, and a cash fund made up entirely of the entry fees, where every second you win is worth something.
