Universal Bicycle Team

Universal Bicycle Team is a cycling team. Our main goal is to promote cycling and sport in general, and to encourage a healthy lifestyle. We aim to build a close-knit sporting family, grow our community, and support the development of every team member and the community as a whole. We strive not only to bring together people with shared interests, but also to inspire one another to achieve more, help each other overcome challenges, set ambitious goals, and work towards them together.

For us, cycling is about more than distance, speed, and results. It is also about friendship, mutual support, memorable experiences, and unforgettable adventures. We want every member to feel part of the team, find like-minded people, develop physically and personally, discover new opportunities, and become better with every ride.

Our goal is to create a community where everyone can find their place, regardless of their fitness level or experience, where sport brings people together, inspires them, and becomes an integral part of life.

Events calendar

The calendar is available in three views: a list of events, a calendar, and a map with start points — click any point to see which events will take place there. Lists can be filtered, and every event comes with an image and attached materials: announcement, regulations, route, and results.

Adding and proposing events

Any registered user can add their own event. We would be grateful for high-quality descriptions — including the date, time, and a point on the map. Together we can make the calendar truly useful. You can also suggest a news item or a knowledge-base article.

Race registration

Organizers can open online participant registration on the site (at this stage without automated payment, using manual confirmation) and broadcast competition results online using open-source applications developed by the site’s author (details in the knowledge base). If you organize events and would like to run registration for your own races, contact us through your personal account — we will grant you the necessary organizer rights.

News, knowledge base, and discussions

The site has dedicated sections — news and a knowledge base — where announcements, articles, and useful materials are collected. Once registered, you can take part in discussions of events and news in the comments.

Search and localization

A site-wide search is available: simply type, for example, “granfondo” to instantly find the corresponding event, news item, or article. The interface is fully localized into Russian, Kazakh, and English; localization of content depends on its authors. Light and dark themes are supported.

Personal account

Through your personal account you can contact the team: describe your question or request in free form and send the message. After registering, please fill in your profile — this data is automatically filled into race registrations. The same place provides API access to the site: a link and the option to generate a personal token.

Sign in and take part

You can sign in with GitHub, Google, or Strava. To go from guest to full participant, confirm your email address. Join us — together we will make cycling closer and more convenient.
