Race protocols used to be viewable only online over the internet. Now, at events timed by our system, you can see your position right on your Garmin bike computer or watch -- the free Live Race Stats app shows, by your bib number, your place, the gaps to the riders ahead and behind and to the leader, the gap dynamics and the laps.

To start: install "Live Race Stats" from the Connect IQ store (in the Garmin Connect app on your phone), add the RaceStats field to your profile's data screen, and set the race ID (from the competition page URL) and your bib in the settings. Bring a phone with internet to the race -- the field refreshes about every 5 minutes as laps are completed.
