Sokol Race by Changan 2026

"Sokol Race by Changan 2026" is a road race held at the Sokol International Racetrack (about 65 km from Almaty, between the villages of Shabyt and Kurty on the Almaty–Astana highway), on 6 September 2026.

The race has two stages: Stage 1 — an individual time trial (ITT) of 9 km (2 laps); Stage 2 — a group race of 45/32/72 km depending on category. Approximate starts: ITT from 08:00, group race from 11:00.

Open to riders aged 18+; helmet mandatory. TT bikes for the time trial, road bikes only for the group race; drafting is prohibited in the ITT. Organizer: Changan Race.
